The disinfecting power of stable sodium hypochlorite "K Guard" is slightly inferior to that of chlorine dioxide and sodium hypochlorite (residual value 0.3-0.4 mg/l), but it can inactivate E. coli at 5 ppm. Of course, it is odorless, and to achieve the same effectiveness as stabilized chlorine dioxide, 750 ppm is required.
